AcornDoc Edit a PDF

Resize your SSC signature. 10 to 20 KB.

SSC applications (CGL, CHSL, MTS, GD and others) ask for a scanned signature as a JPG between 10 and 20 KB. The SSC photo is now taken live in the application, so only the signature needs resizing. Choose your signature and download it ready to upload. It never leaves your device.

SSC signature requirements

SSC applications (CGL, CHSL, MTS, GD and others) ask for a scanned signature as a JPG between 10 and 20 KB. The SSC photo is now taken live in the application, so only the signature needs resizing.

Sign on plain white paper with a black or blue pen, take the photo in good light, and crop it close around the signature. If your notification gives exact pixels, type them in Width × height.

Requirements can change from one notification to the next. These settings match the published SSC requirements as of October 2026, but always check the official notification for your exam and change the numbers above if they differ.

My signature came out smaller than 10 KB. Will it be accepted?

AcornDoc pads small JPGs with empty space inside the file to reach 10 KB, without changing the picture, so the portal’s size check passes.

Does it work on my phone?

Yes. Take a photo of your signature, crop it in your phone’s gallery, then choose it here.

Is my signature uploaded anywhere?

No. It’s resized inside your browser, and the new copy doesn’t include location or camera details.
