IBPS photo requirements
IBPS PO, Clerk, RRB and SO applications ask for a recent passport-size colour photo, 200 × 230 pixels, between 20 and 50 KB, as a JPG.
Use a recent photo with a light background, looking straight at the camera, with your face filling most of the frame. Crop it on your phone first so your face is in the middle: AcornDoc trims evenly from the edges to the 200 × 230 shape.
Requirements can change from one notification to the next. These settings match the published IBPS requirements as of October 2026, but always check the official notification for your exam and change the numbers above if they differ.
My photo came out smaller than 20 KB. Will it be accepted?
AcornDoc pads small JPGs with empty space inside the file to reach 20 KB, without changing the picture, so the portal’s size check passes.
Does it work on my phone?
Yes. Pick the photo from your gallery, crop it so your face is in the middle, then choose it here.
Is my photo uploaded anywhere?
No. It’s resized inside your browser, and the new copy doesn’t include location or camera details.
