Getting a PDF under 100 KB
A 100 KB limit is common on job portals, college and scholarship applications, and government websites that ask for certificates, ID proofs or mark sheets as PDFs.
First, AcornDoc shrinks only the photos and scans inside the PDF, so the text stays sharp and can still be selected. If that isn’t enough, it turns each page into a picture and lowers the quality step by step until the file is under 100 KB. Need a different limit? Type any number of KB in the box.
Can a scanned document fit in 100 KB?
Usually, for one or two pages. A full-colour scan of many pages may not: split it with Split PDF and upload the pages separately, or scan in black and white.
What if it can’t get under 100 KB?
You’ll see the smallest size it reached. Send fewer pages at a time with Split PDF, or remove pages you don’t need.
Is my document uploaded?
No. It’s compressed inside your browser, so it works with private documents like ID cards and bank statements.
