NEET UG signature requirements
The NEET UG application asks for your signature as a JPG between 4 and 30 KB. Signatures in capital letters aren’t accepted.
Sign on plain white paper with a black pen, take the photo in good light, and crop it close around the signature before you start.
Requirements can change from one notification to the next. These settings match the published NEET UG requirements as of October 2026, but always check the official notification for your exam and change the numbers above if they differ.
My signature came out smaller than 4 KB. Will it be accepted?
AcornDoc pads small JPGs with empty space inside the file to reach 4 KB, without changing the picture, so the portal’s size check passes.
Does it work on my phone?
Yes. Take a photo of your signature, crop it in your phone’s gallery, then choose it here.
Is my signature uploaded anywhere?
No. It’s resized inside your browser, and the new copy doesn’t include location or camera details.
