Getting a PDF under 500 KB
A 500 KB limit is typical for visa and immigration portals, university admissions and online tax or insurance claims, where several pages often have to go in one file.
First, AcornDoc shrinks only the photos and scans inside the PDF, so the text stays sharp and can still be selected. If that isn’t enough, it turns each page into a picture and lowers the quality step by step until the file is under 500 KB. Need a different limit? Type any number of KB in the box.
Several pages need to go in one 500 KB file. How?
Combine them first with Merge PDF, then compress the merged file here. If it still doesn’t fit, remove blank pages with Organize pages.
What if it can’t get under 500 KB?
You’ll see the smallest size it reached. Send fewer pages at a time with Split PDF, or remove pages you don’t need.
Is my document uploaded?
No. It’s compressed inside your browser, so it works with private documents like ID cards and bank statements.
