Getting a PDF under 200 KB

Many application forms allow 200 KB per document: enough for a clear one- to three-page scan of a certificate, bank statement, ID card or signed form.

First, AcornDoc shrinks only the photos and scans inside the PDF, so the text stays sharp and can still be selected. If that isn’t enough, it turns each page into a picture and lowers the quality step by step until the file is under 200 KB. Need a different limit? Type any number of KB in the box.

Why is my one-page scan bigger than 200 KB?

Phone scanners and copiers often save pages as large, high-resolution photos. Compressing brings them down to a sensible size, usually without any visible difference.

What if it can’t get under 200 KB?

You’ll see the smallest size it reached. Send fewer pages at a time with Split PDF, or remove pages you don’t need.

Is my document uploaded?

No. It’s compressed inside your browser, so it works with private documents like ID cards and bank statements.
